I can understand your problem. Have you ever talked to local construction companies? I would possibly also order bricks, concrete, reinforcement, etc. through them. You have to borrow formwork material, saws, etc. from somewhere anyway. I could imagine that you get a better price when buying through construction companies than in the building materials trade. At least that was the case for us. And construction companies might also have a practical tip for choosing stones.
