Selection of the room thermostat

Hello everyone,

which type of room thermostat would you recommend for underfloor heating and how do you see the advantages and disadvantages or cost/benefit? The analog ones with a rotary dial or rather the fancy ones with a display and possibly program memory...

None at all,

that really saves on acquisition and operating costs. And if you absolutely want some, take the cheapest ones, then at least you’ve only thrown a few euros out the window.

all rooms evenly permanently tempered?

In a modern new building with low-temperature underfloor heating, you simply cannot achieve large temperature differences due to the system. A 2-3 degree difference from room to room is the reality. Ergo, the RTRs serve more as wall decoration than having any function. Provided, of course, that you intend to live in this house and sleep there daily. If you are absent for months, the situation naturally looks quite different.
