Not much? To my ears, that's extremely much. Here with us, in almost 30 years, I have heard of exactly one burglary in the entire circle of friends/acquaintances/village... certainly there must have been one or the other that I don't know about, but every 6 months with 50 houses, I find that so much that I wouldn't want to live there at all.

The sign with the dog and the fact that he lies in front of the house from time to time should be enough. The burglars don't know that he is a love monster. They are usually less afraid of cameras.

Focal point? In 2017, there were 116,450 attempted residential burglaries. Less than half were unsuccessful due to good security measures. When looking at the total number of owner-occupied houses and apartments, 2 burglaries/year per 50 houses is very high. Ypg seems to operate in an even more affected area and therefore has a distorted perception. However, it is not the national average. Golfi90 and the others are right when they consider it a lot.

A colleague of mine lives in a new housing development, they have a "Whatsapp group". Every time a stranger comes into the area, it is posted in the group with license plate etc. :-) ...........
