Hello team,
we are just starting with the external earthworks and currently have the following setup. Our entire house is covered on the outside with ETICS. The base slab is coated with a waterproof slurry and the transition from the base slab to the insulation underneath is additionally sealed with a fillet. We will be piling up about 50 cm of soil and thus also go into the window sill at least with a terrace.
My question: Is it sufficient here to install a normal dimpled membrane from the top edge of the terrace down to the insulation (like an L) and then add soil?
I have read that with ETICS or bitumen, the dimples are rather placed outward and additionally a fleece is used on the dimpled membrane?
Opinions or recommendations specifically regarding the dimpled membrane?
Regards
