Hello,
I have installed the multi-utility product Doyma Quadro Secura Nova 1/breit as the house entry. Today, a company commissioned by the electricity provider/Telekom came to lay the corresponding cables and install the house connection box. I was only briefly on site myself; the company said they would get in touch when they were finished.
Everything has now been installed, but the employee could not get the connection sleeve of the multi-utility product over his electricity and Telekom cable (I assume he did not have any soap or lubricant at hand). Without consultation, he simply foamed the holes with well foam. Now, of course, I am wondering if everything is really sealed? I asked a friend who is a civil engineer, and he said it would actually be okay, but the pipes are lost forever or blocked for later entries. I now have the following questions:
-is it really sealed compared to the sleeve? I read somewhere that it would be much more important that the sealing is okay on the inside.
-is there some kind of protective conduit that I can retroactively put around the electricity cable? I actually assumed the company would bring one.
-the Telekom cable was cut just before the multi-utility entry and will be connected this week with a sleeve. Does it make sense to pull a flexible conduit over it?
-how do I actually make an optimal seal on the basement wall myself?
-in general, a colleague recommended filling the entire corridor in front of the house entry with sand so that water has no chance to accumulate
Electricity cable on the left, Telekom on the right, water below (already previously laid in a flexible conduit and connected to the multi-utility product with a sleeve)
