Hello everyone,
when our basement walls were being formwork, an opening for the air outlet of the heat pump was forgotten. This opening was subsequently cut out of the reinforced concrete (WU). Now the cut edges of the steel reinforcement are visible. The exhaust grille of the heat pump is inserted in the recess. Can this be left as is without any concerns, or should the cut edges be sealed to protect them from corrosion? If yes, what would be best?
Thank you all!
