About 10 years ago, our terrace was newly paved with sandstone. There is also a small area here that is covered. In this area, we constantly struggle with white efflorescence/deposits. The landscaper advised us to treat the slabs once a year with an outdoor cleaner for sandstone. The outdoor cleaner cleans the contamination caused by algae etc. very well but not the efflorescence. Treatment with a basic cleaner (also according to the landscaper) brought no success either. In addition, some areas now also show perforation corrosion on our sheet metal cladding, which was also installed in this area. Does the perforation corrosion come from the outdoor cleaner or from the efflorescence? And how do we get rid of the efflorescence/white deposits? The area that is irrigated is flawless. Thank you very much for your help. maxi.12
