Is comparable to cars and trucks. Of course, you can go shopping or on vacation with both.

In the end, however, it is more effective to have both and use the one more suitable for the respective tasks.

The Samsung TDM devices are basically nothing more than two units "piggybacked." However, when heating and cooling, you have to pay for the same power values. With two separate devices, you can adjust that more according to demand. Surely, if you think about it simply, you need the same energy for cooling as for heating... but... usually, you heat the whole house but do not cool everything completely.

However, if you plan to cool everything, then feel free...

No, Samsung offers the classic split air-to-water heat pump with indoor unit and integrated hot water storage tank that then runs on underfloor heating. As generally known.

Additionally, a bypass to the indoor unit is installed on the way with a switching valve in the split lines. It is then basically like a switching valve between cooling and hot water preparation instead of, as it is currently known, switching between heating and hot water generation, only that it is entirely located in the refrigerant circuit instead of in the supply/return flow. I cannot say more, otherwise it could be considered advertising.

Exactly, this is called multisplit and is well-proven. The BS boxes are generally always used to expand systems arbitrarily (up to the maximum load). This is also the case with these from Samsung. But finally, someone has come up with the idea that what refrigeration technicians have always done can also be offered to homeowners, because there might be an opportunity to make some extra money.
