roof truss construction

Hello, can someone tell me what this construction is called? It is not a prefabricated truss, right?

Stupid question, but is a truss roof always the same truss roof? Or are there different variants? That means if I say I want a truss roof, would my roof structure look like this? I found various pictures on the internet, sometimes there is a spacious area in the roof structure, then other pictures where it is full of wooden cross beams, etc.

This is a hip roof with a purlin roof truss. The boards you see at the top (connection between the rafters) are called "Zangen". The diagonal wooden beam in the corners is called "Gratsparren". The rafters connected to it are called "Schifter".

A tent roof or pyramid roof as a purlin roof with a standing roof truss/ ridge posts. It is not a prefabricated truss, but a conventionally timber-framed roof truss. However, the force-fit connection of the base purlin with the masonry is not clearly visible. The shell construction may possibly consist of a timber frame structure, with mortise and tenon joints between wall studs and base purlin.

Why should you do that; especially since it is no longer cheaper than a carpenter-style roof structure?
