Roof frame: Is the warping of the rafters normal?

Hello forum community,

could you please take a look at the pictures of our roof framework.

To us, it all looks far from good.

The rafters show significant warping and are anything but flush in the area of the ridge.

This also leads to the clamps, which according to the structural analysis were nailed, not fitting properly against the rafters. In some places, the gaps are as wide as a hand.

Additionally, some nails were not fully hammered in.

Our question now would be whether this can still be within a tolerance range or if it can already be considered professionally incorrect?
Thank you very much in advance!

Did a specialist company do that? Will it still be nailed today? With us, there are screws in it. On the other hand, you always get what you pay for...

correct, nevertheless: Even if the price was very cheap, according to the pictures, in my opinion it was not built according to the currently valid guidelines. But I am not a carpenter! The ridge beam is more like a toothpick, forces that should be transferred to the opposite rafters end up in "nothing". There are usually nailing diagrams for clamps / brackets, etc. However, the whole thing, despite looking dreadful, may be within the tolerance range

We are building with a general contractor. The subcontractor hired is a carpenter. So I already assume a specialist company. As it sounded, the acceptance is supposed to take place today by the site manager. Therefore, nailing will certainly no longer be done. According to the static calculation, however, only nailing is used. We have already informed our site manager that this does not look professional to us.

Looks a bit adventurous already and I am also just wondering why the rafters do not fit together if the roof is straight...

The clamps have nothing to hold to the left and right, the beams will be able to carry them even over a long time.

Don’t you have your own expert? I assume the construction manager mentioned was commissioned by the general contractor? I’m not very familiar with roofs, but my roof truss also looked quite crooked to me and the expert (commissioned by me) had no complaints. I’m looking for the pictures... here: https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/lage-stadtvilla-oder-efh-auf-500-m2-Grundstück-rechteck.33505/post-504475 So also crooked, but different from yours and no gaps. Definitely get an expert who has nothing to do with the general contractor or their subs, someone who exclusively represents your interests!
