Hello, the topic is already over a year old, but I have arrived exactly at this point. We are currently planning a shell construction with the builder. I want a roller shutter system that cannot be seen from the outside. For this purpose, the front-mounted version with the round inspection cover is out for me. Now there is also the other front-mounted version with a plaster carrier board. I actually don’t want the "old" roller shutters with the insulation problem, and the costs in the shell construction also play a role, since front-mounted roller shutters are cheaper there. My question is, has anyone already used the front-mounted roller shutters with plaster carrier board? Is this recommended for new buildings? (also price-wise?)
