I myself have never seen anything like this, but regardless of my assumption, a friend of mine claimed the same. Whether it corresponds to reality, I do not know, but I can well imagine it. Fire is not loud

So Google knows nothing about it. But fire is loud! For your project, you would need a soldering torch, which is not silent in the dark night, plus it takes time. I think this can rather be dismissed as fiction.

MO?

The inclined burglar simply pulls out plastic roller shutters. Is it more difficult with (stiffer) aluminum? Probably.

For the colored windows, aluminum shutters are usually recommended because they are more colorfast. Plastic roller shutters are also available in color, but strangely somewhat different from the window frames. They also tend to fade more there.

Burglary or not. As I see it, aluminum roller shutters have mostly only advantages over plastic roller shutters.

Thank you all.
