This assumption makes me curious. Why does "not everyone want" such a solution, which is hardly noticeable to the eye and involves no effort in case of repair? Building expert on the go

In my circle of acquaintances, everyone has external roller shutters, who are happy with them. One even has no shutters installed at all. It seems to be a matter of taste, although I think that the thermal bridge is still an argument.
I personally find [Vorbaurollläden] extremely ugly - but thermal bridges are probably negligible by now, right? We also have four windows on the ground floor that don't have any shutters :)
....so I didn't mean front-mounted roller shutters (so these attached, semicircular boxes)... Only the inspection cover is accessible from the outside and is not inside. I didn't know that before. ;)
