Rhombus formwork on brick masonry

Hello everyone,

I have a masonry garage made of Poroton. It is still unplastered on both sides. I want to install a rhombus cladding on the outside of the garage. My idea would be the following (from inside to outside):

Interior plaster lime-cement
Brickwork (with the occasional concrete pillar in between)
Black facade membrane (does anyone have material recommendations?)
Battens
Rhombus slats

Is there anything speaking against this? Any suggestions for improvement?

Looks good. Maybe apply a silicate paint on the interior plaster.
Have fun. It's a huge job if you want it to be done properly.
Varnish the moldings beforehand if desired and calculate and buy screws (possibly order). There are more than you initially think.

Ok. Thank you very much for the feedback! I understand the amount of work involved, the appearance should be the reward. Due to the time commitment, I will also do it only after moving in. It’s just the garage, so it can wait.

.., the insulation then, if desired, between the masonry and the membrane. I would use some rather thin polystyrene boards.
