Review of construction financing / loan

If it were up to that, only couples where each partner could afford the financing alone would be allowed to build/buy... Of course, that is the best case but for the majority still quite unrealistic.

That's true, magical beings. Everything is a risk and everyone decides how much they want to bear. The forum should only encourage reflection, nothing more.

What exactly interests you? I finance a similar amount as the sole breadwinner, even more precisely with less net income than the OP alone.

Here you get food for thought, but ultimately everyone still decides for themselves.
