Hello,
our nearly 10-year-old double-glazed wooden windows with fittings from Roto partly have mushroom cams and partly normal cylindrical parts in the locks. The strike plates in the frame are apparently already designed for mushroom cams everywhere.
Can the normal cylindrical locks simply be replaced with mushroom cams, or do the complete fittings need to be changed? I have not seen the mushroom cams as individual parts anywhere.
If this is a simple measure, I would consider it to increase burglary security. I am aware that the rest of the house has to match, and I will seek advice from the police on this if possible.
Regards
Michael
