Yes, exactly what I wrote before.

The electrician master makes good money on that :-). About 50€ material costs and if things go well, half a day of work. But that's how it is.

If I have the offer, I can tell you exactly. According to his information, the material costs are about 100-150 euros net per apartment.
The hourly rate for the master electrician is 55 euros net.
But as I said, I will gladly share the offer here afterwards.

Ah, I overlooked the fuse box. Then the price is actually okay.

I probably have to get a second electrician. After more than a week without an offer, I asked about it. He hadn't had the chance to review the pictures he had taken yet. Due to the old cables, he would prefer not to leave the distribution boxes as they are. He would plan about 1.5 days for this and estimate around 1800 Euros including materials.

That's certainly a significant amount to take in at first.

Offer is available, approximately 1400 euros. I had hoped for it to be cheaper.

Well, I would say not uncommon. He really marks up the material (300%), but since the overall material costs are low, that's probably bearable. And when it comes to labor costs, I shouldn't complain, as I never want to have to pay myself ;) (I mean they are within the usual range). Whether the number of hours is necessary, you'll only find out if you accompany the work. And if you would mistrust the electrician in this, he would be the wrong one anyway.
