Hello everyone,
We built last year without a ventilation system and are satisfied with that.
Only in the bathroom, due to my wife's extensive showering habits, there is often a significantly increased humidity. This in turn leads to multiple ventilations, which makes it too cold for my wife in the bathroom again
We are now considering retrofitting a ventilation system in the bathroom. We would like to install it in one of the two exterior walls. Power is available in the attic above.
We understand that a core drill is necessary. However, we would prefer to run the power supply either inside the wall or on the outside of the wall leading to the attic. Reason: The interior plaster is finished and nicely painted. Outside, only the base plaster has been applied so far. There we could easily chisel a groove and "fill it again with base plaster". I am aware that this creates a small thermal bridge.
Has anyone done / had this done before?
Are there any experiences / recommendations for specific devices?
Is the power line routing as described above possible?
Thank you :)
