Retrofitting a rain shower without new drilling: What are the possibilities?

I would like to retroactively install a rain shower in our 4-year-old rental house. It is important that the existing drill holes can be used for this, which of course initially greatly limits the possibilities (90 cm distance between the two holes at the top and bottom).

My previous research results:

Option 1: with connection at the hose. I see the problem here that most systems have fixed distances at the mounts (e.g. Grohe or Hansgrohe) or want to drill 4 holes in the wall per mount. If you look at Amazon, there are also some with variable mounts, but somehow I can't imagine that these 80 euro systems are any good.

Option 2: Somehow attaching a rain showerhead parallel to the existing system and connecting it to the existing showerhead with a mixing lever system thingy. But this part is mounted with additional drill holes, which of course does not help me. My idea now would be to somehow connect the whole thing reasonably nicely with the existing shower system. Since the current shower system is flexible, something sticks out from the bar, on which theoretically such a rain shower could be attached. Here is a picture of it (maybe someone who knows this type of system can verify that indeed only one drill hole in the joint was used here and not two holes above and below):

Do you maybe have ideas for implementation? maybe you can contribute long-term experiences with such an Amazon rain shower.

It still works really well. The only annoying thing for us is that we put the old handheld shower head on the hose. But it’s too heavy and always bends down.* Otherwise, the water runs fine. I uploaded a photo in the original post, didn’t I? *I still wanted to replace it with the old small one or a small one with LED.

Ok, that doesn't sound bad. Could you maybe send me the shower system via PM (if it still exists, things can be quite fast-moving on Amazon sometimes)? Oh, and is it always attached with just one screw?

Yes, exactly, you had added a picture at the end of your topic.

Basically, I am still open to suggestions for option 2 if anyone has an idea :)

When I sit at the computer later, I will check on Amazon which ones exactly I had. PN is not possible, but I can still write this to you here.

One possibility would also be to use the existing holes to attach an installation level. Basically, you screw a board on and can then flexibly mount your rain shower on this board. I currently don't really have a good idea of what material to use there. Wood would work too, but it would probably look strange and suffer over time. Some kind of plastic would probably be the more durable solution.

"Shower system shower faucet stainless steel, WOOHSE shower set shower bar with rain shower overhead shower and ABS handheld shower shower column shower set chrome-plated, height adjustable 88.5~123.5 cm"
This is the exact name. Now costs 109.99 via Prime.
We already had a high-quality faucet in a square shape, so this is also a square model.
A board would annoy me ;)
