Retroactive insulation of a semi-detached house

my wife and I have bought a semi-detached house that we are currently renovating. So far, everything is going wonderfully.

During the renovation, we noticed that we can hear the neighbors on the other side of the semi-detached house really loudly in the living room.

Is it possible to subsequently insulate the partition wall efficiently?

Rather no.. In the past, semi-detached houses were not properly decoupled... Shared base plate, a common wall.... Sound is transmitted well there.

But nothing can be said about the distance. Get an expert who is supposed to identify the weak points... Maybe it's not even the partition wall but I don't know...
