Retaining wall around the property

Hello, we are currently planning the house, we would like to make use of the max. eaves height for the house and would need to fill the plot by about 2m for this. I think this should not be a problem, right? But it would also mean that I have to build a lintel wall with natural stones around the plot (according to the development plan); is this elaborate, how is this done? What rough costs can we expect for this (500sqm) - approx. 22.0x22.0) Regards

Technically probably not, legally possibly yes, so please urgently coordinate the filling with the AR!

If there is a development plan, there may be regulations made there => check the development plan!

Hello Dirk, thanks for the feedback, the development plan states max. 1.5m retaining wall and with natural stone. Do you have experience with something like this, how is the wall constructed, if I take, for example, hewn sandstones, do I still need a foundation? How complex is the whole thing? Thanks & regards

I am a surveyor, not a construction contractor.

If the development plan says 1.5m, you usually need an additional regulation for the 2m retaining wall, but your [AR] or a surveyor on site who is familiar with the exact (local) legal situation in BW knows all about this.

So ask your [AR], that's his job.

just as a rough guideline:

Our plot slopes about 2.2m over 15 m width and 25 m length.

To level this almost (retaining wall in the south with a height of 2 m and gradually flattening retaining walls from the southern wall to the street) we had quotes, all around approx. EUR 60,000.00.

60000 is reasonable, where does this price mainly come from? Stones, labor, or what?
