when the mouldings are glued, I would either try to loosen them with an extra sharply ground wide spatula, alternatively with a utility knife. Use a good (black) blade and extend it fully, always change the blade when it is no longer extremely sharp. With this, I have been able to separate material well in similar situations. Possibly, depending on the adhesive, a hot air gun is worthwhile. It makes many adhesives soft and pliable
