Hello, we will soon buy a terraced house. There are 2 garages on the property. The current owner has also terminated both garages with notice. Now we are considering, since we only need one garage, whether we should continue to rent out one. Does anyone know what needs to be considered here? Ideally, we would rent it out for a limited period, e.g. 1 year, at first. Is an additional insurance (liability?) needed for this?

Liability insurance should always be had in every case, I can only agree with thimmy ;-) You should explain the rest in more detail, I myself only have a small parking space at my place in Düsseldorf, which is rented. For 50 Eur per month really a bargain... and all covered and more. :-)

Best regards
