Hello dear home builders
Currently, I plan to completely renovate a room and the floor is giving me a bit of trouble because it is supposed to be tiled later. Of course, it is also a cost question.
I have already thought of three options, with the latter being my favorite, but the question to you is whether 20mm is sufficient and whether it can be tiled on without further preparation.
Structure always from bottom to top
#1
Concrete ceiling
30mm EPS insulation
20mm OSB
Priming the OSB
Fiber reinforcement OSB
10mm tile + tile adhesive
#2
Concrete ceiling
30mm EPS
20mm Fermacell dry screed
10mm tile + tile adhesive
#3
Concrete ceiling
50mm thermal insulating composite screed (Is there such a thing?)
10mm tile + tile adhesive
#4
Concrete ceiling
30mm EPS
20mm composite screed / floor leveling compound
10mm tile + tile adhesive
The last one, the question is whether 20mm is sufficient.
Further suggestions welcome!
More than 60mm of build-up is not possible, I am bound by the other rooms!
Unfortunately, it is always a small compromise in an old building :(
