Hello everyone,
I have a concrete wall in the garden (see picture), about 20 cm wide and between 20 and 40 cm high. There used to be a fence here, but since the properties on both sides belong to me, it has become unnecessary.
Now I am wondering if there are ways to remove it with normal DIY equipment, if necessary only partially (where it bothers the most) at grass root level.
Where you can see the gravel, a garage will be built in the foreseeable future; it also has an exit door facing the wall, so it is in the way here as well.
How would you approach this?
My first thought was to cut as deep as possible horizontally with the angle grinder (both sides) and then drive wedges in and hope it gives way...
Regards
N

Rotary hammer with chisel, if it is not reinforced, that should be possible.

Muscle power and a heavy sledgehammer. Then it's gone in no time (unless there is iron built in).

With a sledgehammer, nothing happens at all.

Even with a rotary hammer, it can take a while.

I have actually already tried using a Bosch hammer + chisel on a trial basis, and it was a really tedious task to get even small pieces out (not shown in the picture). I left it for now and thought I'd ask here what ideas you might have. A heavy sledgehammer is available but hasn't been used yet. I thought maybe to cut into it first with a large angle grinder.

Maybe buy a proper jackhammer, they are not even that expensive. Alternatively, rent one at the hardware store. That would be my idea.
