Hello,
I have a question. We currently have two sinks side by side in the large bathroom in our house. Since we don't need one of the sinks, I would very much like to remove it.
The sink was installed there five years ago by a professional company.
Now my concern: If I remove the sink, there will at least be one or two holes in the tile (after all, the sink has to be attached somehow).
Unfortunately, we don't have a new matching tile to replace it... Does anyone know how such sinks are mounted? Will there only be a few small holes in the tile or, for example, is it also discolored?
If a major damage is to be expected (tile behind completely full of holes, tile heavily discolored, etc.), I would rather leave the sink attached. It bothers us, but it still looks better than a completely damaged tile... For one or two small holes, on the other hand, I could put something over it...
I am very much looking forward to an answer.

Attached are two pictures.
Thanks a lot to you all ;)
