Remove palisade fence element

My attempt would probably go like this: 1. Spray the clamps with Caramba or something similar; 2. place a batten into a section of the fence; 3. hit under the batten with a hammer; changing the section to the left/right at most every handful of strikes; 3. after loosening, continue in this way to avoid jamming the mat.
