Hello everyone,

we have bought new garden chairs (MWH Garten-Positionssessel Futosa (62 cm, Anthracite/Silver)), which unfortunately were blown onto the terrace stones by strong wind and now have some ugly scratches in some places (or it rather looks like they have been sanded off). Do you have any idea how to fix something like this?

Iron and gently go over, best to cover with baking paper.

Thanks for the tip. I've never heard of it before. But if it works, all the better.

Cockpit care products for cars can help with minor scratches. For deep scratches, you will probably have to live with them. I assume that the armrests are made of PVC and not a thermoplastic. Heat only helps with polypropylene or polyethylene - check if you can find a PP or PE or PVC mark on the plastic parts somewhere.

Under the armrests is the symbol PP.

Sometimes a permanent marker helps too ;)
