Hi, I also have such an electric spatula and with it I can remove the adhesive residues from the carpet well. But I don't have such an accessory and I can't cut miters on skirting boards. BG

So if you have an electric spatula, it goes quite fast yes, but if you don’t have something like that and have to do it with a normal spatula, you’ll probably be occupied with it for quite a while.

Well, but such electric spatulas are not that expensive anymore, but you can also rent a professional device, many hardware stores offer that as well. Because if you compare your time to spatulate by hand, or buy a device for 50, hmm I know what I would do.

Scraping by hand is really a dog's job. I have a sander for that and it works wonderfully. I got myself such a machine and also lend it within the family.

So sanding by hand is absolutely not an option. There are special machines for that, and it can be done with a sanding machine. But a multi-router can also be used. Then it all works without much physical effort.

I have also renovated our living area and for that I removed the old carpet. Then I saw the mess, adhesive everywhere. I rented a floor sanding machine and that worked wonderfully. With the suction device, all the dirt was also collected.

That is really to be recommended.
