Hello,

I am planning to have a house built using timber frame construction. However, my girlfriend has concerns because, in her opinion, it is easier to tear down or move interior walls in a solid construction house. I have now googled that the opposite is true. However, the only information available on this is simple claims without explanation on various pages of timber house manufacturers, so I do not know how much I can trust this information. Unfortunately, I am not exactly sure how much the interior walls are anchored to the ceiling, the floor, and other walls.

Could someone please explain to me why it is easier to move wooden interior walls? It can be assumed that the walls are non-load-bearing.

Many thanks in advance!

Hello either,

should be relatively straightforward, anchoring in the ground for my houses for example see picture, walls sealed and screwed together with compressible tape. So later you only need to remove the gypsum fiber boards, take out the insulation and dismantle the wooden studs. Possibly electrical cables will then hang free in the room, so plan for that in advance.
