Hello everyone

We are looking for a metal tool shed for our garden (size approx. 3 x 3 m). It should be used for storing lawnmowers, wheels, ...

I wanted to inquire which manufacturers you can recommend? Since we have quite a lot of wind, it should not necessarily be the cheapest, windiest version. I have already looked at tool sheds from Biohort, they are top in terms of workmanship, but also have their price.

Are there any other good manufacturers that are somewhat more affordable, or is Biohort still the best option?

Thanks & regards Jörg

So we have a metal garden shed with a wooden shelter from oogarden.de. To say something about that, it's definitely a completely different category than Biohort. They are indeed very nicely finished, but the shed looks perfectly okay, is also stable, and costs only a fraction. For us, it just fit, of course, I would have also very much liked one from Biohort. But it's always a question of what you want to invest.

I didn't really find alternatives in between, and for stability, our shed is equipped with point foundations and also has an OSB floor. It is also somewhat sheltered, but it certainly won't blow away quickly.

Hello everyone,
We have both, the Highline storage shed from Biohort: top quality, great assembly, everything fits together, excellent assembly instructions. Outstanding customer service - we bought 2 sheds and got the same key for both upon request. In daily use, the Biohorts are also great and simply look stylish.

From ooogarden we have a firewood shelter:
Assembly was tedious, not everything fit, the appearance is okay, but not really stylish. Customer service does not exist, after 1 or 2 years I am still waiting for a response regarding the missing assembly instructions. You cannot get through by phone, there is no reply to emails. At that time, payment in advance was required. I took the risk because the item was cheap, but for a purchase of several hundred euros, it would have been too risky for me.

I also didn’t find alternatives in between in 2016/2017. Maybe there are some now. I think there is now more selection for trash bin sheds, maybe they have something for tools too? It also depends on how big it should be.
Fingers crossed!

Biohort Europe. Still affordable, but well made. Everything else we looked at was crap.

We also have one from oogarden and I have to say it is completely sufficient. I have everything in there that I need.
Assembly is really a bit tricky and you should definitely be two people.

Two small parts were missing in the package, which I then recreated with hardware store materials. I wrote to the support about this, and they replied to me the same day. They said they would send me the parts or that I should send the receipt so they could refund me the amount for the material. However, since it was really only 3 €, I did not make use of this.
