Recommendation of construction company for solid city villa in Erftstadt near Cologne

I have bought a plot of land of about 800m² in Erftstadt. Now I am looking for a regional house construction company. I am an absolute layman in this area. All search queries on search engines only yield prefabricated building companies. If classic "brick by brick", then regional, that’s definitely "right". But why has the building method decision already been made?

I always recommend to my advisees to leave the building method decision open at least until the resting phase of the dough in the house-building schedule. Hello 11ant and ypg, first of all, thank you very much for your advice. I actually didn’t think about looking for Bauunternehmen/Bauunternehmer. I always searched for Massivbaufirma or Hausbaufirma. :D Now, if I may ask, how do I find a construction company that doesn’t put me in Oli’s situation. I really feel sorry for the poor guy :( Thank you very much
