Hello everyone, since we have now made some progress with the terrace, it is now time to plan the partition wall.
Briefly, we have decided on a Betonplus slab from Kann in wood look. This is to be framed all around.
The landscaping contractor would now like to install a terrace partition immediately. According to him, this would be difficult later because the terraces (semi-detached house) are framed, and afterwards, the frame would have to be destroyed again to anchor the partition wall accordingly.
Since the prices for the partition wall from the landscaping contractor are really steep, we would like to do it ourselves later in consultation with the neighbor. Therefore, here are my questions:
1. Is it really that "difficult" to make the partition wall later when the terrace is already in place? Of course, I would only reluctantly want to "ruin" the landscaping contractor’s work.
2. What kind of partition wall can you recommend? Ultimately, we only have one neighbor, as this is a corner lot.
We had been looking at something made of WPC. But of course, in terms of "sound insulation," it is certainly not the best solution.
On the other hand, a wall would heat up significantly in summer.
We are therefore somewhat clueless and hope for your tips.
What goes well with a terrace in wood look?
I would like to say many thanks in advance.
