Hello everyone,
we have a 120cm high double rod panel fence on one side. In total 5 meters long, that is 2 panels and 3 posts. Along the entire fence height and length, hard PVC wind and privacy protection strips are installed. Today everything is absolutely stable.
Now we would like to raise the fence from the current 120 to 160 or possibly even 180 cm. I have seen that there are special ready-made extensions (of 40 or 60 cm) that can be purchased and inserted into the existing fence posts.
Does anyone have experience with this? We would of course also want to equip the extension with hard PVC wind/privacy protection strips, but we are not sure if the whole thing will hold (some manufacturers advise against weaving additional privacy strips through the extended panels). Can someone possibly share experience on this?
Thanks in advance
