Question about the determination of the floor area ratio

I honestly couldn’t find a second base area number or any other clue, I just looked through it again.
Yes, I also think that even a non-responsible employee should know this.. Well, now it is what it is.. I’m supposed to get in touch again next week.
But I am reassured for now that you say there is something else.. So I’m thinking positively now because there must be some other regulation with us too.

Deviating from the development plan, a bay window/winter garden/dormer may exceed the building envelope in the area "x" by "y" meters ... or comparable

I have a builder's book from Stiftung Warentest. It describes that areas such as paths, driveways, etc. are counted as 50% of the area. I believe it was phrased there as if it were generally valid. However, I have not looked into it in more detail yet.
