Delicious, wonderful, marvelous. Henrik, simply amazing how you always have new ideas! Simply great... You consulted a lawyer, oh I see... You should have just consulted one for construction law :D Am I actually allowed to publish 'parts' of Google Maps then?? :D:D

This is the first forum where you are not allowed to show anything from Google Maps - there are company websites that have even embedded Google Maps into their website. As far as I'm concerned, you can post anything... this is really such a joke here - but it fits with many other posts here that I was able to read...

It seems that only people who note down illegal parkers hang around here...

These companies have embedded it via an html/php etc. code and Google makes money from it. That is the small but crucial difference.

But everyone else is always to blame, right Pippi Longstocking "I make the world the way I like it"

... as if there were no more important problems ... instead of posting such comments here, do something sensible that helps other people, rather than creating new problems!

No. You are mistaken! Links to the Google Maps location on websites are something different than distributing and publishing map material. It is prohibited by Google's terms of service. You don't have to call us stupid just because you have deficits regarding copyright, but you can be sure that someone is better informed if they have been _working_ with the internet for years.

If you download or scan something, you must be aware of the actions you can take with the material and what you cannot, otherwise it can become very expensive. But that should be enough for a quick guide now - your district surely offers an adult education course for beginners. Your lawyer should rather not give you a lesson ;)

The answer to your question I gave you in the first post.

You brought the rest upon yourself.
