Hello everyone, We are going to buy a prefabricated house with a timber frame construction, technically finished. Q2 plastered. Now there are still joints visible everywhere at the ceiling/wall transition of the drywall. Q2 plastering includes, in my opinion, closing such joints, or am I mistaken? Thanks for your answers.

Was not included with us either. We had to do it ourselves.

Your contract probably includes a clause such as: Closing the connection and component joints (acrylic or similar) is the responsibility of the builder.

In our case, the joints between the wall and ceiling remained untreated for 2 years because the building was still settling. I couldn’t resist a few very exposed spots. The closed spots cracked without exception. If you can tolerate it, then give the house time. If not, I wouldn’t use silicone or filler but rather moldings, e.g. stucco or the styrofoam that looks like stucco, which I would only attach on one side to the ceiling.
Good luck
Gabriele
