Good evening dear forum, I have an approximately 35 cm thick column in my penthouse apartment in a 90° window corner. Since this concrete column has such scars, I have applied a thin layer of Pufas filler and then sanded it with sanding mesh. The special feature on the backside is that there is only 10 cm of space because of the window corner, so you plaster blindly. I check the sanding with a mirror. The surface is nice and smooth when you run your hand over it, but there are always these spots where the concrete shows through. When I apply filler there, I go through in another place again. Although everything is very smooth, I am not sure if a dent will be visible after painting? What do you advise, what looks more elegant? - to paint the column with silk-matt or glossy paint - or with dispersion wall paint like the walls Many greetings Frank

Hello Frank, what grit did you use for sanding? I believe that if you paint it glossy, you will see every dent and unevenness. Therefore, my tendency would be rather to satin finish, of course matched to the floor and wall.
