PUR or PIR sandwich panels - which is "healthier"?

Hello I wanted to order sandwich panels today. Most still offer PUR panels, but one shop offered me PIR panels with the note that PUR is no longer allowed to be manufactured. What is that about? Why should PUR no longer be allowed to be manufactured? Does PUR emit more gas under normal conditions?

What do you want to do with the panels? PUR is, as far as I know, still being offered normally by all kinds of manufacturers.
