We built with 42.5 bricks unfilled. We have no problems with sound. But I can confirm that the installed webs break quickly. Here we had to be careful during the electrical work, but in everyday life, it causes no problems...

It would already be worth it to me for the thinner wall.

Much has already been said. We currently live in a house with walls made of filled bricks (36.5), and I can't find much negative about that. However, the craftsmen (especially electricians, possibly plumbers) should know what they are doing to avoid causing havoc during installation. But this applies at least equally to unfilled bricks.

Yes ….and yes …
Sand-lime bricks for interior walls also really bring something when it comes to sound … the general contractor just has to be able to handle the mixing …
