Protect exposed wooden stairs during the construction phase - which wood is best?

The concrete cire order is so expensive that a precast part would have been significantly more cost-effective for us.

Same here, besides, I actually find exposed concrete more beautiful than concrete cire. The precast staircase was only about 1000 net more expensive than the cast-in-place one, and because we completely save on the covering, it was overall even cheaper. We will probably apply a PU sealant.

one issue still bothers me: how did you make the connection to the plastered wall? Simply plastered on? What does the joint look like in the finished state? Or do you use silicone because otherwise cracks occur?
