Property - basic ideas

What is currently stopping me? I would like to get some ideas before going to an architect/contractor etc.

There are no links here. No one will make the effort to search for pictures on the internet for you here either. We have linked construction blogs in this forum and a moderated forum where it’s about construction companies. That’s all you can be offered. You have to help yourself.

I always say: there are things in life you have to do yourself. Just as you probably want to conceive your children yourself, you should decide yourself what and how to build. You have to work out for yourself what is available on the market. Likewise, you have to work out for yourself what can cost how much. It seems to me you are either not ready at all and only an occasional/leisure planner, otherwise you would already be at my examples from #2.

you are of course right, I do have certain ideas:

flat roof
modern design
I really like (but questionable if feasible cost-wise) cubes where the second floor has less floor area than the first.
large glass surfaces if possible

We would have liked a flat roof too, but we gave up on it because of costs and concerns about sealing. Maybe a shed roof? I sent you a private message.

Ypg also has an interesting construction, in my opinion.

Of course I do that as well (and have done so before, however houzz is new to me, thank you).
