We will cover our concrete staircase ourselves with wood - costs about 1,600-2,000 euros for 15 steps, depending on whether you want block-glued steps or steps "made in one piece." We will not make risers. Mr. Google is your friend

Do you have any ideas on how to design or treat the concrete stairs differently so that we can save costs? Tiles are out of the question; we just don’t like them. Has any of you simply painted the concrete stairs?

LOL - if you ever see a concrete staircase poured at the factory or directly on site, you won’t feel like painting it.

Order the wooden steps yourself. There are plenty of shops here and in Poland that all make them to measure.
