Program for (3D) Land Planning

Hello everyone,

we are currently planning the construction of a semi-detached house. The architect's initial plans are available. Unfortunately, we are not 100% satisfied so far and would like to "experiment" a bit ourselves.

Is there a program that meets the following criteria:
- simple, as intuitive as possible to use
- floor plan design, preferably in 3D
- acceptable graphics
- various furniture and figures to better illustrate scale
- operable on a PC

The program does not necessarily have to be free, but <100 €.

I would recommend Homebyme for the requirements. However, only 3D within one level.

The first plans from the architect are available. Unfortunately, we are not 100% satisfied yet and would like to "fiddle around" a bit ourselves.

Help with fiddling around is gladly offered here as well. If you already open a new thread on an FAQ topic, I’ll add my two cents: a 3D program doesn’t give a layperson any planner magic powers, but it does dangerously quickly create the feeling that their apprentice sorcerer prank has already invented the wheel. Better take the architect’s plan, some scissors, tracing paper, a pencil, etc., then print out the plan and compare it to the building envelope of the property (so you know the range within which its length, width, and height can be adjusted at all).
