Since you don’t build a house every year, a visit to the show home park is always informative – that’s where you really see what’s available, what’s modern, and what looks outdated. I know some people who go there every six months just to look at the decorations :-)
Look for house providers on the internet and request catalogs. Also ask about prices.
Go to bathroom shows and kitchen stores; there are also various ideas there.
You have to absorb everything. Also, feel free to invite the house salespeople to your home: they should calculate something for you so you know how much things cost. You should familiarize yourself with the technology beforehand. A house can cost 1/3 more than indicated (if you include standard heating technology, nice tiles, and a kitchen). Then there’s a foundation slab added or included. Have several of them calculate approximately the same house (for comparison, same size, same technology), but don’t sign anything!!!! :-)
The salespeople are persistent, but why not... maybe they even have a plot of land for you. Good luck!
