Hello everyone,

we have now installed the following floor in our upstairs for 1 year: WICANDERS Vinyl woo Resist ECO Field Oak

We are totally impressed by the quality of the floor, but we have the problem that it feels like every hair sticks to the floor and thus cannot be picked up by the vacuum cleaner. The floor is definitely statically charged – sometimes you can't even remove some hairs with your hands.

Has anyone of you had similar experiences or knows what could possibly be done about it?

Best regards

What is your humidity level when the problem occurs?

The problem actually occurs continuously. Thanks to the ventilation system, we also have very good humidity levels. In winter rather around 35% - otherwise around 50%.

Problem solving: Just take a look in stores under "Antistatic cleaning care". That should solve the problem (with regular use)! -------------- Greetings to everyone: KlaRa

I have actually not found a cleaner that works antistatically. Is there possibly another "term" for this? Or can you perhaps directly recommend a product?

Now, I should not give recommendations within the scope of the required neutrality.
Nevertheless, here is the note from the hygiene shop:

Antistatic plastic cleaner and conditioner

Why "plastic cleaner"?
Well, because the surface protection of the cork floor is a film-like plastic coating.
And in unfavorable cases, it acts in an electrostatically influential way.
