Primer coat in new construction before screed is poured?

Hello everyone,

since I didn’t find anything suitable in the search, here is my question.

At the end of November, the screed will be poured in my new building, the plaster has been drying for 2 weeks already. The painter is scheduled for KW 10 2023.
We have some time pressure in March.
Since I have some time right now, I would possibly like to apply primer already. Can I do that without any concerns? Or are there problems if the screed comes later and the construction dryers are running inside? I only fear that due to the construction dryers or the heating of the underfloor heating, the primer will "disappear."

Many thanks.

Primer before the screed? Where? I wouldn't know what that should achieve.

Btw primer takes maybe an hour... The time savings really don't bring much.

I think he means on the walls.
I wouldn't do that, after 2 weeks of drying they are certainly not dry yet.
We were in a similar situation with the time pressure. Our general contractor strongly advised us against applying anything to the walls before they were properly dry.
And besides, the painter probably has to do some filling first, the primer would only come after that.

True, makes sense

But I see it like you do, as long as it hasn’t been plastered yet, it’s pointless, and at least with us, that was only done after the screed and heating up

Apply primer to walls and ceilings, I would claim it takes longer than 1 hour;-)

Yes, that's right, a few spots still need to be repaired, well, I'll just wait until the end or the painter will take care of it then. Thanks first of all for the answers.
