Prices for gravel including compaction

Hello,

we have been thinking about having our driveway covered with gravel (50cm height, grain size 16/32) and compacted. We inquired with a construction company and were quoted a price of 76 euros per square meter, fully compacted. The price includes gravel and delivery; is that a normal price? Should we maybe ask a landscaping gardener or not?

With us, it was €52/m³ net with RCL.

Ask a landscape gardener. Seems expensive to me. Robson's price looks more realistic. Karsten

With us, it would be 76 euros for half a cubic meter of compacted gravel. Seems quite expensive to me too, but I have no idea what something like that costs.

The construction contractor immediately participated with us, the machines were already there for the earthworks anyway, truckload of gravel ordered (I paid 250€ including delivery, about 11€/m3 at the time), which was then immediately spread and compacted.
