Probably because of the 300k including the basement

300k with a basement can be completely crossed off. The basement is the most expensive floor and at the same time the place where you spend the least time in the end. It’s good that the utility room is moved out of the ground floor, but before I spend 50k on the basement, I would rather invest the money, if possible, in a slightly bigger house.
