To understand how these huge differences come about, here is a little story from me:

Our actual tiler (self-employed, only 1 employee/laborer) had to travel back to his home country at short notice due to a death in the family.

We then faced the challenge of finding a new company about 3 weeks before the start of the job. My sister, through her job (hardware store, sanitary/tiling department), has many contacts and contacted about 20 (good!) companies for us. Of the 20 companies, only one was able to start work within the next 6 weeks. All the others had completely full order books and could not squeeze anything in.

with us it was the tiler from the construction company, as he was already on site in the house anyway

83m² I find way too expensive. We are currently at 55€/m² including adhesive etc. for 26x160cm tiles.

Without mentioning the geographical location, the inquiry is anyway without significance? Of course, a tiler in the commuter belt of a flourishing industrial metropolis has significantly different conditions than one in, for example, East Frisia.

Our tiler from the local area after moving in for the basement wanted €40/hour plus materials. We provided the tiles. He laid everything, grouted, tiled the baseboard, and applied silicone.
